Feature Video Friday: The 2014 Honda Odyssey

On Fridays we’re highlighting each of our vehicles with a video made right in our showroom, and because every series needs a catchy name, we’re calling it Feature Video Fridays. After starting with the 2014 Honda Accord right before the Holidays, we’re back this week with the 2014 Honda Odyssey.

The 2014 Honda Odyssey is loaded with all sorts of helpful and just plain cool features. There’s the HondaLink display system which provides news, social media, restaurant info, Internet radio, audio books and all sorts of other things, right there in the driver’s seat.

There’s the built-in HondaVac™ which makes cleaning a breeze. Blind spot information sensors let you know if there’s someone out of your field of vision, and a multi-angle rearview camera helps you backup with ease.

The video we included shows you many of these features. But honestly, there are more than we could write about than even in a lengthy blog post. For the sake of brevity, know that the 3.5-liter V6 engine gives an estimated 19 city, 28 highway miles per gallon. The way it’s able to do this is a system that activates three, four or all six cylinders depending on how much throttle pressure you apply.

As anyone who’s driven one can tell you, power is always plentiful and responsive, with no engine lag. This is due to the refined six-speed automatic transmission that anticipates which gear you’ll want to be in.

In conclusion, there are many reasons why people love their Honda Odyssey year-after-year. When roominess, comfort, reliability, safety and performance are at the top of your list for a minivan this year, the 2014 Honda Odyssey should be at the top of your list, and we’ll be happy to walk you through the dozens of features you’ll be able to enjoy.
